There is very wise Spanish proverb: Pues no podemos haber aquello que queremos, queramos aquello que podremos, which means Since we cannot get what we like, let us like what we can get. It's better to accept the way our life is going. It's doesn't mean that we should stop pursuit our happiness and resign from our goals but appreciate what we have and what we are able to get from our life in this moment.
